Conservation and You

Sir David Attenborough said, 'Conservation is now a communications challenge'. Now more than ever the principles, discoveries and necessity of conservation need to be accessible to as large an audience as possible. To be able to achieve this idea, people across all walks of life, sharing a common concern for wildlife and their environment need to come together to amplify the voices and causes of conservation. There are myriad ways in which one can choose to pursue their passion for conservation. Staying updated with the latest findings and projects, improving your understanding through reliable literature, volunteering your time with an NGO like HNF, or donating even a small sum to a cause of your choice can go a long way in helping an organisation carry out their conservation initiatives. With HNF, we are often on the look-out for volunteers across all age-groups and backgrounds to help with our operations, our on-field surveys, organising awareness workshops for rural communities, running our rural education centre, coordinating the Alternative Livelihoods Project, etc.
