Communications Officer:
We're looking for a Communications Officer to help share our work with the world. From crafting compelling stories to managing digital platforms, you'll play a key role in connecting people with conservation.

2+ years of experience in communications, content creation, or public relations (preferably in conservation, science, or nonprofit sectors).
Expertise in social media strategy—you know how to build engagement and grow an audience.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills—whether for social media, reports, or press releases, you can turn complex ideas into compelling narratives.
Basic design proficiency (Canva or similar) to support content creation. (You will work with a Graphic Designer)
Understanding of conservation and environmental issues—you don’t need to be a scientist, but a strong grasp of the subject is key.
Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders, including donors, government bodies, media, and communities.
Fluency in Kannada (preferred but not mandatory).
Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing projects independently.

Oversee HNF’s website and social media presence, ensuring our messaging is impactful and engaging.
Develop and execute a content strategy that brings our conservation efforts to life- this includes social media posts, reels, newsletters, and reports.
Plan and coordinate high-impact events that connect people to our mission.
Act as the bridge between donors, beneficiaries, stakeholders, and our internal team.
Write and edit press releases, reports, and outreach materials—strong editorial skills are essential.
Innovate and strategize new ways to enhance our visibility and reach.
